I feel good- like I knew that I would

Today is a good day. My hernia has given me no problems today, I got a good night’s sleep last night, and everything I eat is processing well.  Whoooo hoooo! I love good health.

I have been having right shoulder pain for about a week (this is a recurring ailment) and have been putting ice on it and it seems to be better today.  I think what has been happening to cause the pain to rear it’s ugly head is that I have been crocheting.  I am making an afghan and, even though it is relaxing to crochet, I tend to tense my shoulder. I am making myself take breaks more often.

I just bought the One Year Chronological Bible with daily readings in the order that the events occur.  I have done a lot of bible study but look forward to reading it in order.  Since I just got it today, I have some catching up to do. I have read 5 days worth so far today- so it should be doable.

I made a batch of my favorite soup today- Greek Lemon Chicken Soup. I used extra egg whites and some protein and calcium powder- trying to “up” my protein and calcium intake.  I must say, that powder does not positively enhance the flavor.

Katie called today- she said that she and Steve went on a Snow Hike today through the park- doesn’t that sound like fun?  Although I would not want as much snow as they typically get in Akron, an occasional snow would be welcome.

Well, I know this is just random bits and pieces of my life, but I thought I’d share them with you anyway.  Please continue to pray for my healing as you think about it.

  • I love you and want you to come on a snow hike with us ;) hope you have another great day!

  • Sue,
Its nice to hear what is going on with you. I don’t prefer snow so a hike in the white stuff just isn’t tantalizing for me.

  • Sue, my friend,

I’d love to stop by and visit you. May I? I will call you first when I am in Cary. I check every once in a while to see how you are doing so I can remember you in my prayers.
